Anything Goes at Bearly Mine Designs

Hello there fellow crafters

Well yet again another month has rolled on by and it's half way through August and I'm only now doing my post for the currently challenge over at Bearly Mine Challenges and it's a great challenge as it's an "Anything Goes" challenge.

I was really happy myself when I found out this was the challenge this month as it made it a lot easier for me to whip up a card as I really don't know where my times is going each month. I guess when you work full time, want to spend time with your family if you have the same days off (which doesn't happen frequently) and also do a little bit of crafting the time just seems to fly by.

As always we have fantastic prizes to give away with amazing sponsors

and

the winner also wins a £15 voucher to Bearly Mine Designs shop.

We had an amazing turn out of entries in last months challenge and lets just say that I'm glad that the random generator is the one that picks the winner as it would of been way to hard for the Design Team, it's hard enough picking the Top 3.

So onto my card for the challenge, I enjoyed making this card as it's the first time I've used one of my new digital stamps from All Dressed Up and I absolutely love them. I coloured this image along with quiet a few others while I was on holidays in May which makes life a little easier when your creating in a hurry.

The products I've used in this card are

Bearly Mine Designs pp's
American Craft cs
Studio Calico wood veneer embellishments
Cremen Creations stamens & embellishments
I Am Roses flowers
SU ink
Ribbon
Postage stamp rubber stamp

I would like to enter this card into the following challengs

Through the Craft Room Door - Always Anything Goes

Craft-Dee BowZ - Anything Goes with a handmade bow

Crafting From the Heart - Always Anything Goes

Crafty Boots - Flowers

My Craft Creations - Always Anything Goes

Crafting at the Weekend - Anything Goes

So that's it for me, have to go and finish cooking dinner and upload this post to the above challenges.

Happy Creating everyone and I can't wait to see what you have all come up with.

Go Digital at Bearly Mine Designs

I'm terribly sorry but I'm running late again I just don't seem to be able to get my act together since having a month off work, no excuses I know I've been back at work for a month and I have no idea where it went. I even broke my own promise to myself of scrapping at least one layout per month and didn't even step foot into my craft room except to make the card I used in my inspirational post on the 28 July.

Thankfully I had this card created for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day this year and had yet to use it or enter it into any challenges and thought it was a good one to use for our new challenge over at Bearly Mine Designs and it's "GO DIGITAL".

Firstly I'd like to say congratulations to our winner and Top 3 from last months challenge "FOR THE BOYS" and we had an amazing amount of entries and I can see that we are already heading in the same direction this month.

As always we have amazing prizes from our two sponsors

Marianne Design have kindly donated the following prize:

the winner also wins a £15 voucher to Bearly Mine Designs shop.

Bearly Mine Designs pp's
Unknown cs
LOTV sentiment stamp
La La Land digital image

Ribbon

I picked my pp's first and then coloured my image to match, I've been doing this lately and liking the results as you can get a really good match.

Inspirational Post at Bearly Mine Designs

So it's that time of the month again for me to do my Inspirational Post over at Bearly Mine Designs and I decided to use one of the new digital paper packs available now in the store and it is the Black and White Essentials.

Donna has created some amazing new papers recently and I love the fact that myself and the rest of the Design Team get first dibs at using them.

This card I've created was done in one night with my hubby picking the great Digital Stamp from Bugaboo for one of his work collegue's 50th Birthday party we were invited too. I decided to go with the black and white so the blue I used in colouring the stamped image would really pop off the card.

I'm also happy to say that the card was a hit, he loved him.

The products I've used are

Bearly Mine Designs pp's
American Crafts cs
Bugaboo Digital Image
Basic Grey enamel dots
SU ink, punch & stamp
White gel pen
Black chalk ink

The challenges I would like enter this into are

Creative Knockouts - Make It Masculine

Creative Moments - Anything Goes/For the Boys

Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes/DT call

Well that's it for me tonight, off to watch one of my favourite TV shows (which hopefully will have another season but at this stage it's not) A Place To Call Home.

Have a great time and I hope you all like what I've created and will be back in the next couple of days for a next challenge.

Happy creating.

One for the BOYS

Well I'm running really late with this months challenge post, but first week back at work and it was 7 days straight. Mum was still sick so not only working 7 days straight but also doing everything at home before & after work as well as taking hubby back and forth to work as he was also working 8 days straight when he returned to work.

So here we are 9 days into the month and I've finally got the time to sit down and up date my blog.

I had a lot of fun creating this card as it's my first attempt and a pop up box card and I made it especially for my hubby so the timing was perfect for this challenge over at Bearly Mine Challenges.

As always we have amazing sponsors

Marianne Design have kindly donated the following prize:

First attempt at a Mood Board challenge

Good evening

So tonight is the last night of my holidays and I thought I better get my challenge uploaded with it also being the end of the month.

I have had my first attempt at a Mood Board Challenge which is over at Jot Magazine and the mood board that had to be used was

And this is my attempt

So I used a lot of different products and techniques for me as things have changed a little since I didn't scrap much last year but I'm loving it and can't wait for a rather large order with new goodies to arrive.

So I'm off as it's almost bed time for me, alarm is set, break & lunch for tomorrow organised and now it's time to turn off the computer, catch up on the latest episode of Glee and then it's nite nite.

Happy Scrappin
