Go Digital at Bearly Mine Designs

I'm terribly sorry but I'm running late again I just don't seem to be able to get my act together since having a month off work, no excuses I know I've been back at work for a month and I have no idea where it went. I even broke my own promise to myself of scrapping at least one layout per month and didn't even step foot into my craft room except to make the card I used in my inspirational post on the 28 July.

Thankfully I had this card created for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day this year and had yet to use it or enter it into any challenges and thought it was a good one to use for our new challenge over at Bearly Mine Designs and it's "GO DIGITAL".

Firstly I'd like to say congratulations to our winner and Top 3 from last months challenge "FOR THE BOYS" and we had an amazing amount of entries and I can see that we are already heading in the same direction this month.

As always we have amazing prizes from our two sponsors

Marianne Design have kindly donated the following prize:
the winner also wins a £15 voucher to Bearly Mine Designs shop.
So this is the card I created for this challenge
The products I've used in this card are
Bearly Mine Designs pp's
Unknown cs
LOTV sentiment stamp
La La Land digital image
SU Ink & Stamp
My Favourite Things Die
Cremen Creations resin embellishments
I picked my pp's first and then coloured my image to match, I've been doing this lately and liking the results as you can get a really good match.
The challenges I would like to enter this card into are
Crafty Ribbons - Anything Goes with Ribbon
Crafting By Design - Anything Goes
Divas By Design - Ribbon and Flowers
Stampin Royalty - Keep It Simple
Just For Fun - Anything Goes

Tattered Lace - Elegant
So that's it for me, the battery on the laptop is just about out and I'm too lazy to get up and plug it in and I need to upload to the challenges above.
Happy crafting

Inspirational Post at Bearly Mine Designs

So it's that time of the month again for me to do my Inspirational Post over at Bearly Mine Designs and I decided to use one of the new digital paper packs available now in the store and it is the Black and White Essentials.

Donna has created some amazing new papers recently and I love the fact that myself and the rest of the Design Team get first dibs at using them.
This card I've created was done in one night with my hubby picking the great Digital Stamp from Bugaboo for one of his work collegue's 50th Birthday party we were invited too. I decided to go with the black and white so the blue I used in colouring the stamped image would really pop off the card.
I'm also happy to say that the card was a hit, he loved him.
The products I've used are
Bearly Mine Designs pp's
American Crafts cs
Bugaboo Digital Image
Basic Grey enamel dots
SU ink, punch & stamp
White gel pen
Black chalk ink
The challenges I would like enter this into are
Creative Knockouts - Make It Masculine
Creative Moments - Anything Goes/For the Boys
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes/DT call
Well that's it for me tonight, off to watch one of my favourite TV shows (which hopefully will have another season but at this stage it's not) A Place To Call Home.
Have a great time and I hope you all like what I've created and will be back in the next couple of days for a next challenge.
Happy creating.

One for the BOYS

Well I'm running really late with this months challenge post, but first week back at work and it was 7 days straight. Mum was still sick so not only working 7 days straight but also doing everything at home before & after work as well as taking hubby back and forth to work as he was also working 8 days straight when he returned to work.

So here we are 9 days into the month and I've finally got the time to sit down and up date my blog.

I had a lot of fun creating this card as it's my first attempt and a pop up box card and I made it especially for my hubby so the timing was perfect for this challenge over at Bearly Mine Challenges.

First attempt at a Mood Board challenge

Good evening

So tonight is the last night of my holidays and I thought I better get my challenge uploaded with it also being the end of the month.

I have had my first attempt at a Mood Board Challenge which is over at Jot Magazine and the mood board that had to be used was

And this is my attempt

So I used a lot of different products and techniques for me as things have changed a little since I didn't scrap much last year but I'm loving it and can't wait for a rather large order with new goodies to arrive.
So I'm off as it's almost bed time for me, alarm is set, break & lunch for tomorrow organised and now it's time to turn off the computer, catch up on the latest episode of Glee and then it's nite nite.
Happy Scrappin

Inspirational Post @ Bearly Mine Designs

So as you can see I've been away from my blog for quiet a while this month but for once I was prepared and had all my challenges uploaded with scheduled post before I left on my holidays.

The 29 of the month has come around very quickly and my holidays are officially over as of today, I was lucky enough to have tomorrow and Saturday as my scheduled days off on the new roster so I still have two days before heading back to work.

So this card I'm absolutely in love with, I must say it's probably one of my most favourites even though it's quiet  a simple card with not a lot of embellishments. This card was order by one of my hubby's work collegue's who's ordered a specialised card before, it was to be for a friends 50th birthday. She specifically asked that 50 and the ladies name be placed onto the card so that's what I've done.

The papers I've used for this card are available at Bearly Mine Designs and the set that I've used is

I absolutely love these Mixed Media papers and can't wait to keep using them over and over again.
The products I've used are
Bearly Mine Designs pp's
American Crafts cs
Kenny K digital stamp
Studio Calico wood veneer embellishments
Spellbinder & Memory Box dies
Whimsy stamps
SU embellishments
Basic Grey alpha & numbers
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Party Time Tuesdays - Anything Goes
Through The Craftroom Door - Anything Goes
My Craft Creations - Anything Goes
One Stitch At A Time - Anything Goes
So that's it for me tonight, I will be back in a couple of days with our new monthly challenge, I'll be popping over to our challenge blog tonight to look at all our entries for our latest challenge and will be stopping by some blogs to leave a comment.
Happy crafting

Mood Board challenge at D-Lish Scraps

So I said I'd be back shortly

I'll keep this post quick as I babbled on in the previous one, so this one is for D-Lish Scraps, this is my first attempt at doing a mood board challenge and it also contained a sketch and for all of those that know me I can't resist a sketch as I think it makes life a lot easiers and just loved the colours so I had to go for it.

The mood board was

So this is my entry
So I "Guess you can't guess what I got for my birthday" LOL LOL
I loved doing this challenge as I said before as I just loved the colours and it was perfect for these photo's I had already printed.
The products I've used
Cremen Creations handmade fabric/crochet flower, lace, resin embellishments & trims
Amercian Craft cs
Basic Grey & Kaiser pp's
Webster Pages pebbles
American Crafts Thickers & misc alpha
Prima birds nest
So I'll be back again later in the month with my inspirational post unless I manage to get back into my craftroom prior to going away on Thursday.
Nighty Nite

May challenge at White with 1

Good evening

So with being on holidays I've actually managed to get this months challenge over at White with 1 completed and it's only the 5th of the month. Woo Hoo

So the challenge this month is

ww1 gold
This was quiet a difficult challenge as I don't have a lot of gold in my stash as it isn't something I use often as I tend to use silver more frequently, so this is what made it more of a challenge.
So the photo I've used in this layout is of mum & dad's XK120 Jag that dad completely rebuilt, they went away on their honeymoon in this car and held onto it for a few years but unfortunately when they started planning their family it had to go as it was only a two seater, hence no where for a baby seat.
Had the whole day in my craftroom creating this layout along with another one but even though I've still got over another 3 weeks off work I'll be away for most of the rest of the month which means not much crafting time.
The products I've used
Cremen Creations crochet flower, charms & fake crystal leaf
American Crafts cs
Crafters Companion misting stencil
Tattered Angels glimmer mist
Prima Flower
Making Memories, Basic Grey & American Crafts alpha's
Spellbinder Nestabilities dies
Stampin Up border punch
Misc cs
So that's me for this post, will be back shortly with another.
Have a great week.
