A little bit of inspiration at Bearly Mine Designs

Hoppy Easter

So I've jumped in early for my Inspirational post this month to help out a fellow DT who hadn't quiet finished her card and mine was already up and ready to go so I only had to change the posting date.

This card I've created was made for my bosses daughter's wedding and I just love it, she married a gentleman from Africa so it gave me the opportunity to actually colour a coloured person as I certainly couldn't give her a wedding card with two white people on it as that just wouldn't have been right. I was really happy that they both loved it and I did it in the colour for her wedding which was Coral.

The products I've used are

American Crafts cs
I Am Roses & Wild Orchid Crafts flowers
Lilly of the Valley Stamp
Stampin Up ink & stamp
Spellbinder & Marianne Designs dies
Cremen Creations fake crystal stem
Cremen Creations lace

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

Crafting by Designs - Anything Goes

Through the Craftroom Door - Always Anything Goes

Love to Scrap - Anything Goes

Marker Pop Challenges - Anything Goes

So that's it for me tonight, lots of things to do and can't have too late a night as I'm working tomorrow but thankfully for only half a day and then I've actually got the weekend off. The quicker the weekend goes the closer my holidays are getting.

White with 1 - March challenge

Well I'm back again for the 2nd time today and this time it's for a scrapbook layout.

As I said earlier in the year I was planning to scrap at least one layout a month all year and so far I've managed to keep this promise to myself. So this month's challenge over at White with 1 is

ww1 latte

I love using brown shades as it can be so versatile, you can make something vintage or modern. I've scrapped a couple of photo's of David and I from our 10th wedding anniversary which was three years ago, boy how times flies.

This one is something very different for me using lots of different products and a mix of styles, loving using my glimmer mists with the white backgrounds.

One benefit of scrapbooking at home is using stuff from your stash, I remember when I used to do most of my scrapbooking at the shops I would always end up buying new stuff even if I didn't need it but I will admit I do miss the companionship of the ladies on a scrap night. Lots of fun used to be had especially when we had midnight crop nights or fundraisers.

So that's it for me for today, will be back tomorrow with my inspirational post for Bearly Mine Designs which was going live in the UK on the 29 March.

Happy scrappin

Sale Time & New Releases at Bearly Mine Designs

Good morning to all my crafting buddies

So it's a beautiful sunny morning here in Forster, Australia after almost a week of drizzle and overcast weather. I was hooping for another miserable day as I was wanting to sit on my bottom and watch the whole Twilight Saga without feeling guilty. Mum is away visiting my cousin in Sydney and my hubby is heading into work shortly for a long 8 hour shift, hence leaving me in the house by myself which is very rare. So the plan was to get up and make a coffee and start with Twilight but as yet that is to happen as I've washed, got the chicken ready for dinner (new slow cooker recipe), put the dishy on, tied the house and taken out the garbage.

So while hubby is getting ready I thought I'd have my 2nd coffee and get my blog posts done and then maybe after lunch I can start watching them, here's hoping anyway.

So onto what I'm really here for this morning is Donna has a great sale happening this weekend until 31 March 2014 over at Bearly Mine Designs

There is also two more new releases which I've created a couple of cards to demonstrate how easy and wonderful they are to use.

New Digi's at Bearly Mine Designs

Good morning everyone

Well after such a busy month this month with a wedding at work for the daughter of the owners, working 7 days straight 3 weeks out of 4 this month, having a head cold and going away with my hubby for a weekend to just chill I haven't had much time to keep you all updated on what's been happening over at Bearly Mine Designs.

Donna has been busy getting her creative juices flowing and has come up with two of the most amazing new paper backs.

Firstly we have Mixed Media

which is available @ Bearly Mine Designs Mixed Media

and then we have Mixed Media 2

which is available @ Bearly Mine Desings Mixed Media 2

I have just finished downloading these papers myself and they are absolutely amazing and I can't wait for my days off next week to get my creative juices flowing as well to put these to use. The biggest decision is going to be which ones to use, OMG what a decision.

Well that's it for me until I'm back with my inspirational post for the month and then also for our new challenge at the beginning of next month.

However I might be back a little sooner as I also have a scrapbook challenge to upload for this month as I'm still trying to stick to my promise I made to myself this year to do at least one scrapbook layout a month as I've really been missing my scrapbooking.

Have a great weekend everyone and I'll see you all soon.

Happy creating.
