So I've been very very slack

Good evening everyone

Before I get started I'd like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year (thought I'd get in early with that one) and sorry it's a late one.

I have been so busy at work it's been unbelievable and I can't believe Christmas has already been and gone in a blink of an eye. Lucky for me I've had a long but good roster this week so I thought it was about time I updated me blog and my commenting for my DT commitments for both One Stop Craft Challenges and The Emerald Faeires, thankfully we are taking a little break which has given the opportunity to do this without being too late.

For all of you who have entered the last couple of challenges which I didn't have time to comment on I'm terribly sorry for that.

As a lot of my friends now I work in a Caravan Park on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales in a beautiful beach side town called Forster. So as you can imagine this is the busiest time of the year for us and with a park that has almost 60 cabins, ensuite, powered and unpowered sites and also 100acres of natural bushland camping it keeps us all pretty busy.

So tonight I will just be quickly adding the cards I have created for the last couple of challenges at One Stop Craft Challenges. This is something that I wouldn't usually do but time is of a short supply as I'm very tired and still have commitments to keep up with.

So firstly here is my card for the Distress Challenge at One Stop Craft Challenges

On this card I've actually used one of my own Cremen Creations epoxy domes for something a little different.

The products I have used are

Fred She Said digital image (already coloured)
Bearly Mine Digital papers
Bakers Twine
MFT and Spellbinder Dies
WOC flowers
Pearl trim
Holly berries

The next card is to use A Christmas Carol as your inspiration - mines pretty obvious.

The Products I have used are

Prairie Fairy digital image
Kaiser pp's and title
Flowers from Scrapsidaisy
Liquid Aplique white
Memory Box dies
Kinday Glitz

The Copics I've used are

Well again I hope everyone had a wonderful Christamas and I will be back hopefully tomorrow to upload another card I've been working on for a competition being held over at the Spellbinders blog. Unfortunately the finalist have already been selected and I didn't make it but is one of the best cards I've ever created so I would like to share it with you but atm I've got other things I need to attend to before bed.

Nighty Nite everyone.

"Christmas" challenge at The Emerald Faeries

Well it's that time of the year again and boy has it come around way too quickly. So everywhere you go and everything you see is all about Christmas, and so our challenge this week at The Emerald Faeries is "Christmas".

I have done a very simple card but it looks really effective, well so I think anyway. As we've been really busy at work getting ready for Christmas in the park I haven't had much get up and go after work or on my days off, so quick and simple was all I could manage.

So here it is

The products I've used are

Bazzill & SU cs
Kaiser bling
Ranger Stickles
Fiskars border punch
Embossing folder
Robin's Nest dew drops

I was very excited yesterday when my Dew Drops arrived as I was really looking forward to trying a new product like always and they ended up working out great.

Unfortunately I have not yet taken a photo of the Copics I've use but they where

R29, 27, 24 & 22
G16, 05 & 02
E000, 00 & 02

I hope to see everyone's entries in this weeks challenge, and as always looking at how they are all very different.

Have a great week.

So onto my latest creation for One Stop Craft Challenge and this one was a fun one to do, I always like creating a Christmas card for my hubby and thought this image from Bugaboo Digital Stamps who are our sponsors this week.

As usual we had an awesome amount of entries for last weeks challenge and everyone's work was amazing so thank you for joining in all the fun and congratulations to Melissa Sunshine Honeybee.

So onto my card for this week's "Christmas For The Boys" challenge.

Bazzill cs
Cuttlebug embossing folder
My Favourite Things banner die
pp's from my scrap stash

The copics I have used are

Time for an "Easel" card and The Emerald Faeries

Hello everyone

It's time for you to do an "Easel" card over at The Emerald Faeries, I've created this card for my Mother-in-law as her birthday is next month so why not put the card to good use for a change. A lot of the time the cards I create for my DT challenge I don't actually have a purpose for at that point in time.

I love doing Easel cards and wanted to try a single side easel but didn't have the time or patience to get it to work the way I wanted so I stuck with the basic Easel.

So onto my card

The products I've used are

Kaiser pp's & pearls
Spellbinder & Memory Box Dies

Time for a sketch

Good morning everyone

So as you can see from my previous post unfortunately I've had other things I've been doing this week. I made sure my DT cards where all done and uploaded last week as I knew that my days off this week would be filled with Breaking Dawn Part 2.

So this week at The Emerald Faeries it's time for a sketch again. This one I loved as I do with all sketches as they make life a little easier when you have a few things to do, you don't need to think as much. LOL LOL

My Christmas colours are generally Blue/Silver/White but I went with traditional Christmas colours and I was really impressed with the result. The present image certainly took some time to get coloured in put I love it.

It's finally over

For all those Twihard fans like myself, the time has come for the end of the movies which is a little upsetting but also wonderful to see the finale.

I lined up with 2 of my friends to see the double feature at Port Macquarie Majestic Cinemas on Wednesday night and it was certainly worth the wait. I have never experienced so many emotions rolled all into one at the very end of the movie. I don't want to say to much as there is probably a few friends who have yet to see it. It was filled with everything you could ever want in a great movie, laughs, tears and certainly some surprises.

Here is the link to the traliers for each movie

New Moon

Breaking Dawn Part 1

Breaking Dawn Part 2

So for all of those fans like myself I hope you enjoy the final movie, see it as much as you can as it will now be a long wait for the DVD to come up. I hope that with it being the final one they won't make us wait as long as normal for it to be released. I plan on going to see it at least once more over my weekend which has just started.

Will be back shortly to update my blog with my latest creations for The Emerald Faeries & One Stop Craft Challenges.

Enjoy your Sunday what ever you are doing.

"Colour Challenge" Fireworks

Good evening everyone

Firstly I would like to say Congratulations to the winner of last week's "Halloween" challenge, Dragonlady who did an amazing creation.

So it's that time of the week again over at One Stop Craft and our challenge this week is to use the following photo as your inspiration.

Not that you can see a lot of blue in this photo but as blue is my favourite colour and I know that fireworks do come in blue the colours I choose for my card are blue, yellow & teal/aqua.

This is the first time I've use a Saturated Canary image and it was quiet funny the reason I bought her was because her name was Jules and she had a cat in her arms. For my friends no explanation is needed but for those of you who don't know me personally or well enough my nickname since school is Jules and I actually own 2 cats.

So onto my card, and I must say that this one is probably my favourite out of all the cards I've made over the last 12mnths since I started colouring with Copic markers.

The products I've use are

Kaiser & Creative Imaginations pp's
Bazzill cs
SU ink, stamp & dies
La La Land die
WOC & I am Roses flowers & leaves
Flower stamens

The copics I have use are

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Bearly Mine - Flowers Galore
Catch The Bug - Anything Goes
The Paper Shelter - Anything Goes

So that is me until Tuesday or Wednesday for a further update to my blog, I will also be working this weekend being Tues/Wed and Thurs morning on another wedding card for my neighbour. I will upload all the recent wedding cards I've made for orders.

Have a great week everyone and I look forward to seeing everyones creations.
