The Paper Shelter DT call

Well I've been busy today creating a card and colouring for the DT call for The Paper Shelter I purchased this digi stamp a while ago as I thought it was great. I've altered the stamp a little by giving her short hair instead of long as I thought it would be nice as I have short hair and glasses too.

I was also lucky to have a wonderful hippie range of pp's and embellishments by Little Yellow Bicycle which are called Free Spirit. I've also used Kaiser, Prima, I am Roses & Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and stamens.

Of course I have used by Copics to colour the digi stamp image Hippie Girl.

Copics used:

E000, 00, 02 & R11
R20 & RV04
E17, 19 & 27
RV04 & 02
V17, 15 & 12 & RV02, 04 & 06 & Y11, 15 & 17
C1, 3, 5 & 7
E37, 35, 34 & 53
Thongs & Headband
BG15, 13 & 10 & Y11, 15 & 17 & RV02, 04 & 06

The Copics are a mix of Ciao & Sketch.

Well I hope that this is what they are looking for as I would love the challenge of being on an international Design Team and be able to meet a lot of new people and hopefully being able to give anyone inspiration that they are looking for.

WISH ME LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Twilight Addiction

So as some of you already know I'm a huge Twilight Saga fan and just love everything about the whole story, I watch the movies over and over again, read the books and buy just about everything to do with it.

So when I found these stamps from Pixie Dust Stamps I just had to have them, I've only bought a couple for now but will eventually have the lot no doubt.

So when I found out it was one of the ladies from works birthday last week I had to make a card for her using Edward as she is just as much a fan as myself, sometimes I wonder if more so than me. She was so excited when I gave it to her and I even made him sparkle in the sun. Unfortunately you are unable to see this in the photo but it did work, I just used Tattered Angels Pearl Glimmermist and a small paint brush instead of spraying.

I would like to enter this card into the One Stop Craft Challenge using the Bingo theme, I've used the running diagonal from top left to bottom right, Distressing, Punches & Pins and I'd also like to enter it into the Wild Orchard Crafts anything goes theme as I just love their flowers and use them every opportunity I get.

So here it is:

Unfortunately as I did this card in a rush I haven't written down the colours I've used but there where the C's for his skin, pants & shoes, the B's for his shirt and the E's for his hair and eye colours. The other products I've used are Kaiser pp's & pearls, Bazzell cs (for punched out leaves) Carolee Creations alpha, Tim Holtz Distress Inks, paper dollie, Fancy Pants pins and of course my Wild Orchid Crafts flowers.

Been busy working!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well this is the 2nd attempt to update my blog as I just had this post all done and it said I had a conflict and to go back and try again and guess what it had all dissappeared, NOT HAPPY JAN.

So I've done a fair bit of creating over November/December but haven't had the chance to update my blog as it's been really busy at work and I've been too tired to do much of anything on my days off.

I've been searching the sites I enter for new challenges and I've found a few which I want to enter some of my cards into so today will be the day for doing that. I'm also going to try and fnd the time to enter something into the DT call for The Paper Shelter.

I'm really happy with most of my work lately however this one which I was asked to create for mum's Senior Citizen's group for one of their ladies 90th Birthdays turned out great except she has a quiet orangey coloured face as my E000 ran out and I had to use another colour. The picture makes it look worse than it actually was but I'll leave that up to you to decide. I was really surprised and flattered that they asked me to make the card for them.

The Copics I've used for La La Land's Marci with Rose are:

Dress, Hat, Shoes & Rose

E35, 33 & 31

Y15, 11, 00 & 000

BG 49, 15, 13 & 10

C7, 5, 3 & 1
